The Global Sepsis Alliance was founded in 2010 as an association of members of the global sepsis community, including the World Federation of Societies of Intensive and Critical Care Medicine, the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies, the International Sepsis Forum, the World Federation of Critical Care Nurses, and the Sepsis Alliance. Since then, more than 110 additional organizations and international stakeholders from all over the world have joined the GSA.
